A Brief history of bowls at Railton
Founding members formed the club in and purchased ??? or was granted or the land for the clubhouse and green. Fill out please. The ? ? Green was dedicated on ? month 19?? .Lawn bowls began in Railton on the ?? ???? 19??.
The green was laid down in 1957 with a significant upgrade in ????.
The clubhouse has always held it’s current position, with several upgrades along the way, we held our first pennant afternoon tea with tree poles holding up a tarp, how things have changedRailton has had a great deal of success in pennant competitions over the years, both in the men’s and women’s competitions.

2018-19 our Division 3 women’s team finished on top of the ladder.
